“Eden Lake is an unusually accomplished debut novel about love and loss and the absurdities of summer camp. Jane Roper writes with quiet authority and sly humor about a large and intriguing cast of characters.” — Tom Perrotta, New York Times bestselling author of Election, Joe College and Little Children

In Memoriam
Clay Perry, 1943-1998 & Gail M. Perry, 1952-1998
It is with great sorrow and fondness that we remember the lives of Eden Lake co-founder and director, Clay Perry, and his wife, Gail MacKinnon Perry. Clay was a visionary — a man who believed in the potential of Camp Eden Lake to make a positive impact on the world by introducing children to the warmth of community, the beauty of nature, and the joy of self discovery. For over ten years, Clay’s wife, Gail, brought her special gifts of kindness, laughter and dance to Eden Lake. We honor their lives the way they would have wanted: by continuing to give children from around the country and the world the singular experience that is Camp Eden Lake. (Photo: Martin Pettitt.)
